Create extension profile
You can create profiles to define custom elements you want to use in your diagrams.
Below is an example of how to create the specified profile and how it is used. Of course, individual steps in this description are omitted if you have already completed them as part of other activities, e. g., generating the UML metamodel in the current database. This means that the Symbols bar now also contains the user-defined class Business class.
The description assumes that you generate the UML metamodel in the original language as recommended. This generates the names in English.

In the Explorer tree, right-click the name of the relevant database and select Log in with options. The Login Wizard opens.
Click in the Filter box on the down arrow and select the relevant method filter.
Click the down arrow to get to the Language box, and select the relevant database language.
Click Finish.

Open the Explorer tab and activate the Explorer tree.
Create a new group in the relevant database and save.
Right-click the group and select Generate UML metamodels. The Generate UML metamodels dialog opens.
Specify which language you want to use for the metamodel elements by enabling the relevant option.
Click OK.

In the Explorer tree, right-click the group in which you want to create a new group.
Click New model element >
Group.Enter a name.
Press Enter.

Right-click the group in the Explorer tree.
Click New model element.
Click Profile. The UML top-level element is created and its name is selected for overwriting.
Enter a name.
Press Enter.

In the Explorer tree, right-click the required profile.
Click New diagram >
Profile diagram. The profile diagram is created and the name is selected for overwriting.Enter a name.
Press Enter. The profile diagram is created and opens.

Click the required element in the Explorer tree and hold down the mouse button.
Drag the mouse pointer to the position in the diagram at which you want to place the element.
Release the mouse button. A presentation of the element is created in the diagram.

In the Explorer tree of the Navigation bar open the group in which you have generated the UML metamodel and drag the UML [Metamodel] object next to the placed profile in the diagram.
Draw the Meta model reference edge from the Extension profile to the UML object.

Click the Stereotype object in the Symbols bar. If the bar does not include the object, insert it in the bar.
Drag the mouse pointer to the diagram window and click the point at which you want to place the object. The object is placed and the name is selected for overwriting.
Enter a name.
Press Enter.

Place the Class object from the Symbols bar in the diagram window. If the bar does not include the object, insert it in the bar.
Click
Find objects in the database. The Select object dialog opens.Click Start search. As the search result, you will see the Class object with the Metaclass type, which you created by creating the UML metamodel.
Select the Class object.
Click OK. The placed class is replaced with the metaclass.
Draw the Extension edge from the Business class stereotype to the Class object.

In the Explorer tree, right-click the group in which you want to create a new group.
Click New model element >
Group.Enter a name.
Press Enter.

Right-click the group in the Explorer tree.
Click New model element.
Click Model. The UML top-level element is created and its name is selected for overwriting.
Enter a name.
Press Enter.

In the Explorer tree, right-click the top-level element Extension model and select Properties.
Click Applied profiles on the Selection tab.
Click the
Apply profiles button. The Apply profiles dialog opens.Enable the check box for the Extension profile profile you have created.
Click OK. The dialog closes and the profile is applied.
Click OK. The Properties dialog closes.

Right-click the top-level element in the Explorer tree.
Click New diagram > Class diagram. The class diagram is created and the name is selected for overwriting.
Enter a name.
Press Enter. The class diagram opens.
