Place subsymbol for abstract symbols
You can insert subsymbols for abstract symbols, which reflect the exact situation you want to model. You can specify which subsymbols are to be provided directly by the pop-up menu and which by a selection dialog. The activity diagram is used as an example.
Procedure. Procedure
Place an action in the activity diagram. The pop-up menu for the action opens.
Click the relevant action in the pop-up menu, for example, Reply action.
If the symbol you want is not available, click Additional symbols for 'Action' in the menu. The Insert subsymbol dialog opens.
Double-click the symbol to be placed for the action.
The selected symbol is placed in the diagram for the abstract symbol.
