Configure subsymbols

You can specify which subsymbols are to be provided directly by the pop-up menu and which by a selection dialog. The activity diagram is used as an example.

Procedure. Procedure

  1. Place an action in the activity diagram. The pop-up menu for the action opens.

  2. Click Configure subsymbols in the pop-up menu. The Provide subsymbols dialog opens.

  3. In the Available in pop-up menu box, select the symbols that you do not want to be directly available in the pop-up menu and click Symbols available in the dialog Symbols available in the dialog.

  4. In the Available in dialog box, select the symbols that you do not want to be directly available in the pop-up menu and click Symbols available in the pop-up menu Symbols available in the pop-up menu.

  5. To sort freely: Use drag and drop or the arrows to sort the symbols in the Available in pop-up menu box in the order in which you want them to appear in the pop-up menu, from top to bottom.

    To sort the symbols alphabetically, enable the Sort ascending check box.

  6. Click OK.

The set number of symbols are displayed with the set sorting in the pop-up menu and in the Provide subsymbols dialog.
