Display properties of individual elements in the diagram

In diagrams, you can specify which attributes of diagram elements are to be displayed.

In the following example, the Class object from the Class diagram is used. Depending on the selected element(s), different attributes are available for selection.

Procedure. Procedure
  1. Right-click an object of the Class type and select Properties Properties. The Properties dialog opens.

  2. Click Format on the Selection tab. The Format area shows the formatting options for the class.

  3. Extend the General entry.

  4. Enable the Show qualified name check box. The name of this class is preceded by the package name.

  5. Click OK.

The display in the diagram window is permanently changed. You can individually specify which attributes are to be displayed and which are not for different diagram elements in exactly the same way.
