Specify re-use of edges

For individual diagrams, you can specify whether or not edges with a presentation in that diagram are to be available for re-use.

Procedure. Procedure

  1. Open the relevant diagram.

  2. Activate the Contents tab bar.

  3. Enable Reuse existing relationships if you want edges for which presentations exist in the diagram to be offered for re-use.

  4. Disable Reuse existing relationships if you do not want edges for which presentations exist in the diagram to be offered.

Depending on your setting, dialogs either offer or do not offer existing edges for re-use.

Tip

You can specify for all diagrams at once whether or not existing relationships are to be offered: ARIS > Options > Designer > General, Edges area, Offer relationships that already exist in the same diagram check box.
