Configure menu with profile content

You can configure menus using content from profiles you have assigned to a UML 2 package or UML 2 model. The following example uses the profile StandardProfile supplied by default.

Procedure. Procedure

  1. Right-click a package or model in the Explorer tree.

  2. Click Properties. The corresponding dialog opens.

  3. Activate the Applied profiles entry on the Selection tab and click Apply Apply profiles. The corresponding dialog opens.

  4. Enable the check box for StandardProfile.

  5. Click OK. The StandardProfile profile is listed in the Apply profiles dialog.

  6. Click OK.

If you now configure the menu for elements in the package or model, in addition to the UML2 elements you will also be able to use the elements from StandardProfile in the configuration. Furthermore, the elements from StandardProfile are available in the toolbar for the corresponding diagrams, for example, in the «StandardProfile» area of the component diagram.
