Find diagrams, objects, or groups, open diagrams, or create new diagrams, for example.
Searches the selected database for diagrams, elements, and groups with names containing the term you entered.
Select the database you want to search. If you click the
down arrow displayed behind Database, you can choose from a list of all databases created on the server you selected.
Press Enter, or click
Start search to start searching for the term you entered.
The new tab is replaced with the Search tab, and you can filter the result or start a new search.
Lists the diagrams you edited most recently.
You can open a diagram by clicking the symbol or name.
Lists favorites and categories in which you have added the names of your favorite items (e. g., by selecting ARIS > Add to favorites). Favorites that were not assigned to any category are listed here.
You can add categories in order to structure your favorites. To do this, click
New category.
To rename favorites or categories, select the relevant item, and click
Rename favorite or category.
To delete favorites and categories, including the favorites they contain, select the relevant item, and click
Delete. The favorite or category, including its contents, will be removed without prompting for confirmation.
If you click a category, its contents are listed. If you click the name of a listed item, it opens.
Displays the items you can create in the current database. If you click an item, the corresponding wizard or dialog opens.
If you click diagram, for example, the diagram Wizard opens, and you can select the database and group in which you want to create a new diagram and the type and name you want to give it.
Lists the diagram types you used as a basis for the diagrams you created most recently.
You can click one of the diagram types to create a diagram of the same type. The diagram Wizard opens, and you then simply enter the group in which you want to save the diagram and the diagram name you want to use.
