Explorer tree
The Explorer tree provides access to databases and database content in a tree view. You can filter the content of the Explorer tree to display only the focussed information.
The Explorer tree is primarily used for managing UML-specific content. It can be used to create new diagrams and model elements, change their placement, place them in diagrams using drag and drop, etc. Furthermore, a padlock symbol is added to the element symbol of locked elements so that the lock is clearly indicated.
You can open the pop-up menus for elements by right-clicking. Different menu items are available depending on the element. For example, if you open the pop-up menu for a package, you can select New model element in the menu to create required model elements in this package. You can configure the New model element and New diagram menu items.
