Export XMI file
You can export UML content to an XMI file of XMI version 2.1 in order to use this content in an external system.
Click ARIS > Explorer. The Explorer tab opens.
Log in to the database that contains the content you want to export.
Right-click the required UML element, e. g., a package, and select Export > As an XMI file. The XMI export dialog opens.
In the XMI file box enter the path and name under which to save the export data.
To export the XMI file to a format other than XMI of version 2.1: In the Stylesheet box, select the transformation stylesheet on which to base the export. Exporting the XMI file to XMI of version 2.1 does not require the use of a stylesheet.
Enable the Export graphic elements check box if you want to include graphic elements in the export.
Click OK.
The UML content will be transformed into XMI format so that you can import it into other systems.
