Configure the display of diagram elements

You can specify which information the diagram window displays about individual UML elements.

Procedure. Procedure

  1. Click ARIS > Options > Designer > Representation options.

  2. In the Diagram/Elements area, click the Right arrow right arrow for the Symbols option to set the display of UML elements, or the Right arrow right arrow for the Graphic elements option to set the display of graphic elements, such as polygon or square.

  3. Enable the check box for a higher level option if you want your settings to apply to all subordinate elements, or enable the check boxes for the individual subordinate elements.

  4. Change the values in the Settings box, or enable the check box for the criterion to be shown for the selected elements, e. g., General > Show name.

  5. Click OK.

The display of new elements immediately adjusts in the diagram window in line with your settings. The representation of existing elements is not changed until you specify changes on the Format properties tab.
