What happens when generating the UML metamodel?
You can generate the UML metamodel used in ARIS UML Designer. This creates the packages Base and UML in the selected group.
The package Base contains ARIS-specific constructors, which are passed on to the metamodel UML. For example, these include the attributes Name and Identifier.
The metamodel can occur only once per database, as the generated elements are assigned the GUIDs that the internal metamodel uses.
