What are implicit changes?
UML data forms a complex network of objects. Because this network must remain consistent, a large number of conditions have to be met. For example, presentations require an appearance element, a relationship requires a source and a target element, properties can have an upper limit of 1, etc.
ARIS UML Designer ensures that the object network remains consistent. This can mean that a change you make will cause changes at other points. These implicit changes may be unexpected to you. Therefore, ARIS UML Designer provides you with information about these changes.
If you
open the properties of an association that connects two classes, and
delete the name of an association end, for example, Association end:Class, the association is deleted from the diagram, and
the warning window for implicit changes is shown in the bottom right, and
the implicit change is entered in the Implicit changes bar.
