Set signature

You can specify the signature for the message edges Asynchronous call message, Synchronous call message, Asynchronous signal message, and Reply message.

Prerequisite

Operations or signals are available for the message edge.

Procedure. Procedure

  1. Select the required message edge.

  2. Activate the Contents tab bar.

  3. Click Edit Edit elements > Set signature. The Set signature dialog opens.

  4. Specify the signature by selecting the relevant operation or signal.

  5. Click OK.

The selected operation or signal is specified as the signature for the selected message edge.

If you change the signature for a Synchronous call message for which a corresponding reply message exists, the signature for the reply message is also updated.
