Assign business process model for navigation
You can assign business process models to UML objects and navigate to them. This assignment illustrates the interrelationship between UML elements and business process models. Opening the business process models gives you access to more detailed information.
Open the diagram containing the UML object to which you want to assign a business process model.
In the Explorer tree, navigate to the group in which the business process model is stored.
Click the name of the business process model and drag the model on the UML object.
Release the mouse button.
Alternatively, you can create the assignment using the Linked diagrams properties page of the UML object. The business process is assigned to the UML object and an assignment icon is added to the object. Double-clicking the assignment icon will open the model in ARIS Architect or ARIS Designer depending on your license. If more than one business process model is assigned to the UML object, clicking the assignment icon will open the Assigned diagrams dialog. Select the model you want to open.
