Where are assignment icons placed?
Assignment icons (
) are placed in the lower right corner of objects to which diagrams or ARIS models are linked. The linked diagrams are displayed on the Linked diagrams properties page of the element.
Diagrams are automatically linked when you move them below the corresponding element in the Explorer tree. The assignment icon will then be displayed as well.
Double-clicking the assignment icon enables you to easily navigate to assigned diagrams and ARIS models. The Assigned diagrams dialog does not provide the current diagram because it is already open.
Assignment icons are displayed for the current diagram if you have enabled the Display assignment icons check box in the Properties on the Appearance tab. For new diagrams, the assignment icons are shown by default if you enable the check box in the diagram options (ARIS > Options > Designer > For new diagrams > Appearance).
