Change keys for line breaks

You can specify which keys are to be used for a line break and which for finishing text editing. Your setting applies to text editing in the diagram window and on the Property tabs.

Procedure. Procedure

  1. Click ARIS > Options > Designer > General.

  2. Enable the Use Enter for line break (press 'Ctrl + Enter' for changes to take effect) check box if you want to use the Enter key for inserting line breaks and the Ctrl + Enter keys to accept the changes.

  3. Disable the Use Enter for line break (press 'Ctrl + Enter' for changes to take effect) check box if you want to use the Ctrl + Enter keys for inserting line breaks and the Enter key to accept the changes.

  4. Click OK.

From now on, you can use the keys selected to insert line breaks and finish text editing.
