Change appearance

You can adjust the appearance of various elements to meet your requirements. Below is an example of how to change the color of an element.

  1. In the diagram window, select the elements whose color you want to change.

  2. Right-click the selection and select Format > Representation. The Properties dialog opens and the Format option is selected on the Selection tab.

  3. In the Graphical appearance area click the right arrow for the Fill color option if the subordinate options are not yet listed.

  4. If you want to fill elements only in a single color: Click the down arrow in the Style line and then Solid fill, and select the color of your choice in the Color box. Click OK to exit the dialog. Your settings are complete.

    If you want to fill elements with a color gradient, select the second color you want to use in the Second color box. The style is automatically adjusted and you can also select any other gradient style.

  5. Click OK.

The color of the selected elements is changed in the diagram window as soon as you select the colors and settings.

To deselect the set colors, click None in the Color or Second color boxes. You can access colors other than those initially available by clicking More colors and selecting the color you want in the dialog that opens.
