Specify which elements are to be visible in the Explorer tree

You can configure the Explorer tree to obtain exactly the information you need. Specify which elements are to be visible in the Explorer tree.

Procedure. Procedure
  1. Click Activate filter Filter. The filter options are displayed.

  2. Click Metamodel filter configuration. The Configure visible object types dialog opens.

  3. In the Invisible elements area, select the UML elements you want to be visible in the Explorer tree. Select UML if you want to move all information of the UML structural element.

  4. Click Elements available in the navigation tree Elements available in the navigation tree. The selected UML elements are moved to the Visible elements area.

  5. In the Visible elements area, select the UML elements you no longer want to be visible in the Explorer tree. Select UML if you want to move all information of the UML structural element.

  6. Click Elements not available in navigation tree Elements not available in the navigation tree. The selected UML elements are moved to the Visible elements area.

  7. To sort the contents of the Visible elements area, select the UML element, and click Up Up or Down Down.

  8. Click OK.

The Explorer tree displays the UML elements you specified.
