Generate object links from database content

You can add object links used to link objects from business processes with UML elements from databases in which these links are stored to the object links available on the server.

This is useful if the re-use relationships of an imported database are not yet available on the server.

Procedure. Procedure

  1. In ARIS Architect, click ARIS > Show Administration Administration. The Administration tab opens.

  2. Click the Link types > Object links entry for the relevant server. The object links available are displayed.

  3. Click Generate Generate from database contents in the Start tab bar. The Object Link Wizard opens.

  4. Information on how to generate object links is provided and you can select the databases in which you want to search for object links.

  5. Click Finish.

The object links from the selected databases are added to the links on the server.
