Version selected diagrams
You can create versions of diagrams in order to capture particular editing and/or release statuses.
Prerequisite
The database used is a versionable database.
You have the Version access privilege.
Click ARIS >
Explorer. The Explorer tab opens.In the relevant versionable database, select the model(s) you want to version.
Activate the Contents tab bar.
Click Versioning >
Version. The Versioning Wizard opens.If you want to version further diagrams in addition to the selected diagrams, click Add and select the relevant diagram by means of the Select diagram dialog.
Click Next.
Enter a description of the change in the Description box. If you do not want to make any further settings, click Finish. In this case, the Versioning dialog informs you that versioning is complete and you do not need to complete the subsequent steps.
If you want to set the use of assignments and relationships, click Next.
Specify whether assignment relationships and relationships are to be included only within the selected content or beyond.
Specify how many assignment levels are to be included.
Click Finish. Versioning is performed. After completion, you will be informed and asked whether you want to open the log file.
Click Yes or No to close the Versioning dialog. Clicking Yes opens the log file.
The version is created and is displayed on the Versions tab of the relevant model and is indicated by the change list on the Administration tab.
