There are two models, and model M 2 is assigned to the function F 1 in the model M 1:
If the two models are SUCCESSIVELY transferred by the merge into another database, the assignment is not included due to the Within the selection option since the assignment does not belong to the selected scope in the first (only model M 1 selected) and the second merge procedure (only model M 2 selected). Thus, the transferred models exist in the target database without assignment relationship:
The model M 1 contains objects E 1 and F 1. The object E 1 is selected in Explorer and transferred by the merge. At a later time and in another merge procedure, the object F 1 is transferred. Since only selected content is to be transferred, only the object definitions of E1 and F 1 are transferred:
