How are assignments handled during the merge procedure?
Assignments are included in the merge procedure if one of the following conditions is met:
You selected both the object and the assigned model in the source database.
You specified an assignment level on the Select merge options wizard page to include assignments up to a certain level without explicitly selecting the related objects and models.
In both cases, the assignments are created in the target database.
Note that the merge procedure that you start in ARIS does not delete assignments. This means that assignments that existed in both databases but were deleted from the source database before the merge will still exist in the target database after the merge. To delete assignments during merge, use the API for ARIS reports.
