Start merge procedure

You can merge UML contents of a database with the contents of another database.

Prerequisite

You have prepared the databases for the merge procedure and have logged in to the databases.

Procedure. Procedure

  1. Click ARIS > Explorer Explorer. The Explorer tab opens.

  2. In the Explorer tree view, click the model or group of the source database, which is to be transferred to the other database, and hold down the mouse button.

  3. Drag the mouse pointer to the name of the target database and release the mouse button. The Merge Wizard opens.

  4. Specify the merge options and click Next.

  5. Enable the In the event of a conflict, always select group containing source option.

  6. Specify other required merge settings on the wizard pages.

  7. Click Finish.

The data will be transferred to the target database based on your settings.
