Create filters automatically (database-based)
You can quickly create filters based on a database that already contains the method contents you require. In this way, you create project-specific filters, for example, based on similar prior projects. You can then edit the filters and modify them to match project-specific requirements. Do not customize standard filters, but create copies instead. Please note that any changes to standard filters will be overwritten and lost during an update.
Filters can be used for logging in to databases in ARIS UML Designer only if they allow the entire UML 2 content. For the content to be allowed, the corresponding UML metamodel must be selected when the filters are defined. Therefore, select databases containing UML content so that the newly created filter includes the corresponding metamodel.
